We are still a work in progress.  Dutch "sez" if we stop here we are on budget.  We have spent $25,000.00 on the work done to date.  After the holidays and throughout the year, we will be changing anything brass to brushed nickel hardware.  We are going to have the valence's recovered to match our new interior later in the year.  New interior shades are definitely in our future.
Please check back periodically to see what else we done.

I just love my new countertops.  They were done by LUE Mfg in Wakarusa, IN.  574-862-4249.  We couldn't find a replacement kitchen sink, so we had ours refinished in a light beige to match our bathroom sink.  New brushed nickel faucets are a wonderful change.
We love the way our interior turned out.  I am so happy to be back to wall to wall carpeting.  Sooo cushy and warm and no more floors to wash.  We purchased the carpet ourselves at Troyer Carpet in Goshen, IN. 574-534-5633.  It was expensive but well worth it.
We liked our couch & chairs and they were in great condition so we had them reupholstered by Lester Yoder owner of the Reupholstery Shop in Topeka, Indiana.  An Amish fellow who knows how to do quality work.   1-260-593-2908 ext 3 leave a message.  We also had the hide a bed removed. We purchaed the fabric from  Masterfraft  in Shipshawana, IN 260-768-4101
Dutch took the old trestle part of our table that I just hated, and cut it down and made a pedistal.  What a difference.
Dutch surprised me with a new computer cabinet.  He had Lester's brother in law hand make one for me out of oak which matches our cabinetry perfectly.
